In the adhesive version, a adhesive flange is glued to the inside of the machine window. The unit is then mounted onto this firmly adhesive flange.

• Can be used on laminated safety glass or polycarbonate windows.
• Suitable for milling machines, lathes, and mill-turn centers (DIN EN 12417 and DIN EN ISO 23125)

Although slightly more expensive than the screw version, the adhesive version offers a number of benefits:

Installation may vary slightly depending on the window material (just polycarbonate or laminated safety glass) - here are the steps summarized for both variations.

1. Define the position and orientation of the Rotoclear S3 on the machine window
2. Thoroughly clean and degrease the inside of the window
3. Mark the exact position
4. Apply adhesive template (polycarbonate only) and remove protective film from the ring area
5. Apply primer (polycarbonate only) and allow to air-dry
6. Remove adhesive template (polycarbonate only)
7. Position and firmly press on the adhesive flange
8. Fill adhesive pockets with two-component adhesive
9. Allow adhesive to cure (approx. 6 h)
10. Mount and screw on the stator of the Rotoclear S3
11. Clean the outside and apply the cover
12. Connect power and, if required, sealing air

With the screw-on version, a screw flange is inserted through drilled holes in the machine window. The device is then mounted on the screw flange from the inside

• Suitable only if the machine window can be drilled without problems
• Can be used exclusively on polycarbonate windows
• Designed only for milling machines

In the right application area, the screw version offers these benefits:

Installation is somewhat faster than the adhesive version but requires precision. Extra care must be taken during drilling and clamping, as polycarbonate windows can be sensitive to stress or aging.

We recommend installation by qualified personnel. Please check for cracks or clouding and replace the machine window if necessary.

1. Define the position and orientation of the Rotoclear S3 on the machine window
2. Position and secure the drilling template on the outside of the machine window
3. Drill the hole pattern into the polycarbonate window according to the template
4. Thoroughly clean the inside of the machine window
5. Insert the screw flange into the drilled holes from the outside
6. Fasten the device on the inside
7. Connect power and, if required, sealing air
